…As PTA pleads for extension of execution dateline

The national President of Parents teachers association of Nigeria Alhaji Haruna Danjuma has appeal to abductors not to executes or hurt any other students in their captivity, while begging them to extend the deadline and time of their execution.
Similarly, the national President Foundation for the Protection of Women and Children, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani has also appealed to abductors not to hurt any students for the sake of this holy month of Ramadan not to killed any students
In an interview with the PTA National President on Tuesday, Alhaji Haruna Danjuma Tuesday, stressed the need to begged all the Bandits “in view of the situation some of the students find them since the day they were kidnapped and kept in the forestry.
Danjuma said “there is high tensions and fears among all the families, relatives and other concerned citizens since the moment they had of the bandit threats to killed all the remaining students on a radio station.
He said, begging them became mandatory because “we want all our university students back home live”, following the date -line issued by Kaduna Greenfield students abductors, demanding 100million naira and Ten motorcycles as ransom for the release of all the students that were kidnapped over 3 weeks in captivity.
“We were shocked and not happy with that statement on the radio that all our remaining Greenfield students would be killed by Kaduna Bandit if 100 million naira and 10 motor cycles was not given to them today.
“We are simply begging them not to killed any other students in view of the fact that they are innocents.
“The deadline is really worrisome and we as parents, we were all concerned and worried over the lives of our students and teachers of the green field university”, he said.
According to him, there is also need for the abductors to extend the date-line they gave ,in order to enabled some of the parents meet-up with their demands.
Danjuma said, it is really unfortunate that Bandit has now come up with new ways of extorting money from school students through evacuating large number of students to get plenty money.
He said, there is need for Government to provide adequate security in order to protect all Nigerian schools, so as to avert further attacks on schools.
“Since the kidnapped of chiboks girls, to Dapchi, zamfara, Niger and kaduna, many teachers and students are in panic and a critical situation, hence the need for the government to quickly bring an end to kidnapped of school students and teachers.
While calling on communities to always support in protecting schools including teachers and students, he equally urged volunteer vigilantes, civilian JTF, Civil defence and peace corp to be always supporting in terms of protecting schools environment.
Also reacting, the national president foundation for the protection of women and children Hajiya Ramatu tijjani appealed to abductors for the sake of this holy month of Ramadan not to killed any students.
She said, “we are begging you to please not to hurt any students, and to please release them. Ramatu equally begged all the bandit across the north to release all people in captivity.
She therefore called on religious leaders to keep praying for peace and unity of the country.
