Words Nigerian girls say instead of ‘I love you’

In most cases, it is unpopular for the female counterpart to say I love you to a man.
They rather prefer the guy to make the first move before they can concede.
Nigerian girls are not exception to this either as they are always waiting for the guy to make the first move.
In my own opinion I think this comes as a result of pride or probably shyness but most of the girls I have been with are always so proud that they find it very hard to profess their love to you.
For the Nigerian girls to properly express their feelings for their man they have adopted different methods other than saying I love you.
Nigerian girls would rather stick to these 10 ways to profess their love rather than telling you ‘I Love You’:

1. I don’t want your girlfriend to come and break my head o

That has happened to me times without numbers and I know many Nigerian guys have heard this lines or seen it in texts, the truth of the matter is that this is a way of asking if you have a girlfriend, your response as a guy will let her know if she should continue shooting her shots or not.

2. ‘Ode’

This is not an insult but most ladies have adopted this way to flirt with a man. Their is this saying that once your crush call you Ode then you are making wave and you just have to shoot your shot harder 😆😆😆

3. ‘Big Head

Just like ‘Ode’ this is another way Nigerian Ladies have adopted to flirt with a man, they come up with this insults just to keep the conversations going.

4. ‘Is There Light In Your Place’

Anytime I see this or hear it through text or phone calls, the next thing is to start arranging my rooms because I know I am about to receive an August visitor, well it can be a December visitor lol. But anytime a Nigerian Lady tell you this you should know she is about to visit you.

5. ‘Go Away Jare’

If you know what’s good for you, better stay. Nigerian girls are the queens of reverse psychology. My girlfriend can repeat this phrase like 50 times in a day but the moment you go away then she starts giving you this girlie attitude, once you hear this, my brother then you already but the jackpot.

6. ‘You Can’t Even Call Somebody

Nigerian girls can be very funny and this is one of the funny ways they tell guys they miss him, once she calls or text to tell you this then you should know someone is missing you.

7. ‘I Hate You’

Just like I said earlier, Nigerian girls are the Queen’s of reverse psychology, If a Nigeria girl tell you this, then she’s head over heels in love with you. Hold her tight 😉

8. Have you eaten?

When there is nothing much to talk about and she doesn’t feel like ending the conversation, she will ask you if you have eaten, Nigerian girls can ask this question like 10 times.

9. You just forgot me

Just like ‘You can’t even call somebody’ Nigerian girls stick to this instead of telling you I miss you or I love you, once you get this from a lady, you should know you already got the greenlight

10. Won’t you come and take me out

Nigerian girls don’t like it when you are taking things too slow, if you have been talking for a while without talking about going on a date, this is how a Nigerian girl will ask you out on a date.
