World Bank assisted-CSDP delivers water project in Abuja community

The World Bank-assisted Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) has commissioned a water project in Karu, a community in the Abuja municipal area council of the FCT.

The General Manager of CSDP, Engr. Obinna Okafor, together with the Karu Gbagyi Development Association (KAGBADA) chairman Mr. Sumner Shagari Sambo and
the Representative of the Sa’Karuyi of Karu/Bezheyakwo, Chief Yunana Yusuf and councilmen were on ground to commission the Mwakpma Water Borehole Project.

Other dignitries at the event includes the Hakimi of Peshe, Chief Atnadu Shanyibwa and the Dagaci of Mwakpma, Chief Paul Dogo alongside members of the CPMC Management Committee of the CSDP.

The commissioning of the Community Borehole marks a significant impact in Karu Town as it will improve access to clean water in the area.
