Yul Edochie Slams Brother Over Marriage Advice, Tells Him to “Hug a Transformer”

By   Milcah    Tanimu

Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has responded angrily to his brother Linc Edochie’s advice regarding his marriage to second wife Judy Austin. During a recent interview, Linc, who appeared on Kanayo O. Kanayo’s podcast, urged Yul to keep his marriage private and warned about the dangers of airing personal matters on social media.

Linc shared his belief that while everyone has the right to live their life, decisions should be made with consideration for others. He advised Yul to refrain from publicizing his relationship on social media, citing how quickly people turn on others, especially when things go wrong. “Take your marriage away from social media,” Linc advised.

However, Yul was not pleased with the advice and reacted sharply. On November 6, 2024, Yul took to Instagram, calling out his brother. He questioned Linc’s own marriage, sarcastically noting that despite keeping his marriage private, it still ended in divorce. Yul criticized Linc for giving unsolicited advice while facing issues in his own life.

Yul continued by mocking those who constantly offer advice on social media, writing, “You wey hide your marriage inside house you no still divorce? Your wife no leave you?” He further defended his decision to post about his wife, stating it was none of anyone’s business and asking, “If I post my wife one million times on my page how e take concern you?”

The tension between the two brothers highlights the ongoing debate over the boundaries of personal life and social media in the public eye.
