Yuletide: Kano Christian Community Ready For Festivals

Christians in Kano state are set to celebrate this year’s Yuletude despite the present economic situation where almost every commodity remained very expensive especially animals that would be used to celebrate.

Our correspondent who visited some areas across Kano state reported that almost all those who are residing around Badawa, Na’ibawa, Dakata, Java and some parts of Brigade are preparing for festivals which commences tomorrow Sunday, 25 December, 2022.

At Sabon Gari where there are over 70% Christians population, Daybreak News gathered that there is decoration at almost all the celebrations spot where different types of curtains were installed with baloons in different colours to attracts the visitors, friends and invited guest.

Mr. Augustine Uche, a member of the organising committee disclosed that ” from what we are witnessing, this year’s Christmas and new year’s celebrations with happiness though there is financial scarcity everywhere, but with God everything would be possible”. He said.
