Christian Clergy Expressed dismay over increasing level of poverty and corruption

National Vice President of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Revered Caleb Ahima has expressed worries of the increasing level of poverty and corruption facing the Country.

Reverend Caleb Ahima disclosed this on Sunday while dedicating the Christian Reformed Church Nigeria CRCN LCC Abuja phase two in Jalingo.

The clergy said the present state of the nation has made the people to loose their sense of judgement because Federal Government has continued to use security operatives to harass the people in the midst of their sufferings.

The CAN Vice President frowned at the manner sin, cultism and drug addiction has pervated all strata of the society and called on Christians to always pray to surmount the challenges of their lives.

He emphasized that prayer is a command to every child of God saying those who are not working in the dictate of God Almighty will always go to others for prayers.

Ahima, charged Christian congregation to teach, preach and baptised the people for them to understand the glorious kingdom of God.

Also speaking the Taraba State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria Isaiah Magaji Jirapye urged Christians to always pray for their state for peace and development.
