Nasarawa: Gov. Sule task Security agencies To Sustain Successes Recorded In Toto LGA

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has tasked security agencies operating in the state on the need to sustain the successes recently recorded in the effort to fight banditry and kidnappings in Toto Local Government Area of the state.
Engineer Sule laid the task in his opening remarks during an expanded security meeting holding at the Government House, on Tuesday.
While commending the security agents, especially the military supported by the police, civil defense and Department of State Security, over the recent dislodging of terrorists in Toto LGA, as well as the capture of over 400 members of the families, the Governor however pointed out that there is need to sustain the successes so far recorded.
According to Engineer Sule, recording such feat is one thing and sustaining it is another.
The Governor disclosed that part of the reason for the meeting was to ensure that the administration sustains those successes already recorded.
Engineer Sule used the opportunity of the meeting to once more thank President Muhammadu Buhari for an the support given to the security agencies which led to the successes thus achieved.
The Governor equally condoled with the officers and men of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) over the recent incidence leading to the demise of two officers.
Engineer Sule took time also to update the people of the state on efforts to contain further spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Governor expressed appreciation to members of the security council for their continued support, stressing that while more tests are being conducted, Nasarawa continues to record less positive cases of the pandemic.
Engineer Sule expressed satisfaction that with the fall in number of positive cases, the people of the state are beginning to take measures to protect themselves against COVID-19.
