19 Corp members involved in Motor accident in Taraba receive support.

19 Batch ‘B’ stream one Corps Members posted to Taraba state and deploy to serve in Sardauna local Government, who were involved in a recent Motor accident have received financial assistant from the Sardauna stakeholders in Taraba.

The Council Chairman of Sardauna Local Government in Taraba state, Honourable Reverend Godwill Sol, on behalf of the stakeholders visited the corps members who are currently receiving treatment at Federal Medical Center Jalingo.

Godwill Sol while expressing sympathies with the victims of the accident said the support was to enable the victims feel the councils consign over the incident saying it’s predestined that this day will come as such he admonished the victims to take it as the will of God.

According to Godwill Sol of the 19 corps members who were involved in the accident one person was confirmed death while four others sustained serious degree of injury, fourteen person have been treated and discharged.

The Chiarman further call on the NYSC family to take heart as this does not only affect the scheme alone but the nation as a whole. He prayed that God in his infinite Mercy grant them quick recovery and the other Corp members who lost his life, that God grand him eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The Taraba state NYSC Coordinator Mrs Florence Yaakugh louded the people of Taraba State more especially Sardauna local government for the love they have shown from the first day the incident occurred till date

Florence said she first received a delegation from the Speaker Taraba State House of Assembly who came around to make sure the victims were well attended to on arrival at the hospital and followed by other delegations that have constantly monitored the recuperation process of the Victims.

She said Most of the victims are now Out door patient as they have been discharged and others have also reported to their place of primary assignment at Sardauna local government Area.
