NIPR Bayelsa to Hold AGM, Elect New Executive Committee

The Bayelsa State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has announced plans to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) alongside elections for new executive officers. In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Election Committee, Gunn Ewhoborwo Emonena, and the Secretary, Vivian Deiseidei-Oputu, the institute called on all registered members in the state to attend the event.

According to the organisers, the AGM and election will take place at Ayabowei Plaza, opposite Kpansia Market in Yenagoa.The statement described the exercise as important for sustaining effective leadership, good governance, and proper representation of members’ interests within the chapter.

It added that the process will include the election of new officials to manage the affairs of the chapter for the next term. Members were also urged to conduct themselves peacefully, participate actively, and uphold the democratic values of the institute throughout the exercise.
