2023 Bet9ja, Delta State National Teqball Tour: LOC expresses confidence in hosting world class event

The Local Organizing Committee(LOC) of 2023 Bet9ja Delta State National Teqball Tour has expressed confidence that they would host a world class event as the tour commence this Thursday at the Indoor Sports complex of the Stephen Keshi stadium, Asaba.

Chairman of the Delta State Teqball, Mr. Dick Marvel who disclosed this to Journalists said all 16 clubs have arrived the state capital and all logistics are ready for the event.

Aso, the Head of Competitions Communication & ICT Nigeria Teqball Federation, Mr. Promise Uwaeme said the tournament would feature five categories; male single, male double, female singles, female double and mix-double.

Uwaeme also said that winners would share a whopping sum of 3,000 U.S dollars .

The Secretary of Delta State Teqball, Mr. Eddy Ogbemudia said paucity of fund is a major problem but he thanked bet9ja, Delta state government and other sponsors who support the event.

He said the National body of Teqball is working very hard to see the event as medal sports in the next National Sports Festival.
