2023: New Kaduna mafia politicians cross carpet to PDP

A New crops of Kaduna mafia that matters in the state politics who made the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), worthwhile. have reportedly cross carpeted to the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), unnoticed.

Some of them have already been given leadership roles in the 2023 PDP campaign council and committee without making it public, our Kaduna correspondent can authoritatively revealed.

Notable among the mafias are the former Secretary to State Government, Kaduna state and former governorship aspirant, Hon. Samila Lawal Yakawada, a two times former commissioner ministry of information Kaduna state Hon. Saidu Adamu, among others.


Hon. Lawal Yakawada who’s contact was used in harnessing and winning over Southern Kaduna in 2015 for APC and Hon. Saidu Adamu were appointees of Governor Nasir El-rufais administration in his first tenure.

Hon. Saidu Adamu who was sighted as part of the entourage of Kaduna PDP gubernatorial candidate during a media parley organized by Nigeria Union of journalists, Kaduna state council, gave the hints of their cross carpeting while speaking to our correspondent at the NUJ premises on their way back after the parley.

He told our reporter who sighted him that himself and several other fateful have now moved back to PDP, and are already working for the opposition party with some even holding positions in the campaign council and committee.

An insider who did not want his name in print revealed that Adamu and colleagues were allegedly seen and treated as moles while they were in APC, after using them.
All efforts to get Yakawada to speak further was futile as he could not respond when contacted.
