The National Orientation Agency, NOA, has enjoined Muslims Ummah to use the occasion of the Eid-ul-Maulud to pray for the nation to overcome its present challenges as the present administration navigates through the economic challenges to deliver on the renewed hope agenda for the development of the country.
Director General of NOA, Mallam. Lanre Issa- Onilu made the call in a message of felicitation to the Muslim faithful, noting that Nigeria was in dire need of citizens and leadership that will exemplify the virtues of selflessness, tolerance, peace, love and fairness; virtues as the Prophet Mohammed displayed.
He urged the Muslim ummah to rally its supplication to God for wisdom and guidance of President Ahmed Tinubu to take Nigeria to its place among the community of developed nations.
He further urged Nigerians to shun the temptation of using the public holiday to engage in any form of lawlessness, adding that the government has put necessary measures in place to ensure that the lives and properties of Nigerians are adequately protected during the holiday and beyond.
