2027: Group Urges Pharmacist John Chun to Contest Riyom/Barkin Ladi Reps Seat

By Israel Adamu, Jos

A youth group under the aegis of the Riyom and Barkin Ladi Youths Mobilisation and Enlightenment Forum has called on Pharmacist John Chun to contest the Riyom/Barkin Ladi Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 House of Representatives elections.

The group, impressed by Chun’s socio-economic and philanthropic initiatives, pledged to work rigorously to ensure his victory if he joins the race.

In a statement issued in Jos by its representatives, Emmanuel Tok and Regina Ambrose, the forum praised Chun’s contributions to the state, particularly his empowerment of youths, women, and the elderly.

They highlighted his support for orphans and vulnerable persons in Riyom and Barkin Ladi, as well as his self-reliance projects aimed at equipping young people with sustainable skills.

According to the forum, Chun’s selfless service and commitment to community development make him an ideal candidate for the federal seat.

“He has consistently prioritised service over self-interest. Imagine the impact he could have with a bigger platform,” the group said.

The call, they added, reflects growing demand for transformative leadership in the constituency.
