3 Organizations Target 5,000 Masses For Social Protection Health Insurance

The workshop that featured lectures on ‘Capacity Building For Sokoto state Enumerators On Social Protection Health Insurance  Beneficiaries Enrollment’ participants from all the 23 local government of the state was also attended by friends of the Organizations.
Conducted at Shukura Hotel along Kano Road, Sokoto the workshop was organized by the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning in collaboration with SOCHEMA and UNICEF.
Dr. Almustapha Danjuma, Director Planning and Monitoring Specialist with UNICEF, Dr. Amamatu Yusuf, Special Adviser, Sokoto state Contributory Healthcare Management Agency and other speakers said the aim is to enlighten some of their facilitators on how to enroll people from the communities that had been sponsored by UNICEF to fish out the poor among the poorest.
They said the facilitators drawn from all local governments had earlier been trained on this exercise.
They said after the basic training, three LGAs, Bodinga, Silame and Rabah would would be the first phase of the exercise adding that their target for the exercise stands to be 5,000 people
