The women of Nedugo community in Gbarain Kingdom in Yenagoa Local Government Area has expressed satisfaction with the developmental strides recorded by Governor Douye Diri in the State
A statement issued by the press secretary of Sustainable development Goals office in Yenagoa, Mr.Pereokosifa Buseni stated that the Nedugo women made the commendation during a solidarity visit to the home of the Senior Special Assistant to the miracle governor who doubles as the Focal Person for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
Led by the Amananarau of Nedugo Community, Chief Seiyefa Otuogha and Councillor-Yenagoa Ward Seven, Hon. Deborah Buodeigha, they commended Governor Diri for his tireless efforts towards the growth of the community, ward, LGA and state in general.
The duo also expressed appreciation to Dr. Wariowei for his support towards the success of the ongoing Gbarain-Uzu Yam Festival.
According to the women, Hon. Wariowei has been very instrumental to the citing of laudable government projects such as the completed 400km road awarded by the State SDGs in their domain and very delighted to have project of that magnitude.
While praying God to bless the governor and SSA-SDGs with divine wisdom and sound health to continue to provide quality leadership, they pledged to work with stakeholders to secure a second term for the performing miracle governor.
Responding, Dr. Wariowei thanked the Nedugo Women for their prayers, support for Governor Diri and members of his Prosperity Administration.
He reaffirmed his commitment to continually give his best in the service of the state and its people, while calling on them to be steadfast in supporting the governor, the government and PDP.
The Nedugo women presented tubers of yam and adorn Dr. Wariowei wrapper around his waist as a mark of their unflinching support and appreciation of his achievements in moving the community forward.
Dignitaries present include; Supervisory Councilor for Works, Yenagoa LGA,, Okoya Mieseigha Julius, Hon. Bubaraye Ogiriki, Special Assistant on Special Duties, Hon. Ebinimi Dickson among others.
