The newly-coronated third class chief of Kabri chiefdom in Mambilla plateau, Sardauna Local Government Areas of Taraba state, Mbondua Auwalu Hammangulde has promised to ensure unity and peace among his subjects during his reign.
The Monarch made the promise on Sunday while speaking with DAYBREAK NEWS on the significance of his coronation in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital.
The traditional chief of the Kabir chiefdom, Auwalu Hammangule said he would attract peace, unity and rapid development of Kabir community and it’s people.
The third class chief said he is overwhelmed and humbled with the Taraba state Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku and his people of Kabri chiefdom in Mambilla Pleatue for finding him worthy to be their traditional ruler and promised to contribute immensely to the development of the chiefdom in Taraba state.
Alhaji Auwalu Hammangulde expressed appreciation to Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for issuing him staff of office, as the third class chief of Kabri chiefdom, saying the administration of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has brought massive development in the state as well as given every community a sense of belonging.
The Mbondua further commended the people of his chiefdom for their massive support during his coronation and urged them to continue to live in peace with their neighbours, irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation for development to strive.
Alhaji Auwalu Hammangulde expressed gratitude to people who came from far and near to witness his coronation and prayed God to reward them abundantly.
Also speaking the Caretaker Chairman Sardauna Local Government in Taraba state, Dr. Abubakar Jugulde described the creation of chiefdoms by Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku in Taraba state as a good omen, saying the coronation of traditional chiefs in various chiefdoms in the state is the beginning of peace in Taraba state.
Dr. Jugulde said the coronation of the Mbondua Kabri has added to the peace initiatives of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku in Sardauna Local government and called on the people of Kabri chiefdom to accord the newly appointed traditional Chief the need support to succeed.
Dr. Jugulde advised the newly traditional chief of Kabir to emulate everybody in the chiefdom irrespective of their tribe, religion or political affiliation to move the area forward.
He called on youths in Kabri to be ambassador of peace in their domain and be creative in their day to day activities to move Kabir, Sardauna and Taraba state forward.
