The new leadership of the Civil Rights Action Against Corruption, CRAAC has cleared the NCPC boss Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam of all corruption allegations levied against him by the former Coordinator Comrade John Olukayode.

The new Coordinator of CRAAC, Comrade Paul Katuka and his team emphasized that the former Coordinator Olukayode acted on his own without recourse to the body.

In a press conference held in Abuja on 5th November 2022, the new leadership described the action of it’s sacked former Coordinator ,” as a campaign of calumny against the personality of Rev Pam”, who had done so much for humanity and does not deserve such image smearing and distractions at a time like this when he is determined and poised to reposition the Commission for greater heights.

According to the NCPC Media Deputy Director, Celestine Toruka, the Press conference was to clear the recent misleading story published in the Vanguard newspaper titled,”Same faith ticket: Anti graft body ask Rev Pam to resign as Christian Pilgrim boss.”

.
The statement read in part , “We are particularly excited by the position of the larger majority of our members and leaders which after our special meeting today, Saturday, November 5, 2022 concluded that the statement credited to our Coordinators is not only lacking in evidence, but also an outlandish falsehood that cannot be substantiated and devoid of all truth.”

The new CRAAC leadership further condemned totally the ulterior motives of t Olukayode, the former Coordinator’s reckless statement against Rev Pam.

Katuka said , ” to us at CRRAC, there is no other meaning to the infamous statement beside it being a clear sponsored distractions against Rev Pam”.
The statement further decried,” it was Patently intended to de -market the remarkable progress the Commission has achieved under his leadership and set in motion the process of destroying the fabrics of his reformative agenda”.
About 13 member of the CRAAC signed the press statement made available to newsmen.
