Three LGAs In The Eastern Part Of Sokoto Benefits With Over 100 Devidends Of Democracy Projects

The three LGAs are Gada, Illela and Gwadabawa among the nine LGAs that constitutes eastern zone of the state.

The Gada council Chairman Garba Yakubu Tsitse said the provision of portable drinking is about the most wanted project accepted by the electorates.

He said people of Gada have the culture of maintaining all important projects especially water adding that the projects executed by the present administration cuts across the eleven districts in the area.

While Commending Governor Tambuwal for providing 1.5 million litres water system, Tsitse said there is also a construction of 10,000 capacity standard Central Mosque among others.

In the same feat, the Illela council Chairman, Engnr. Aliyu Salihu said it is with the concern of the current administration under the leadership of Governor Tambuwal, tremendous achievements have been recorded in the field of health, education, other social amenities as Water and agricultural facilities.

He further said Governor Tambuwal expended millions of naira to uplift religious activities in the area.

Represented by field officer Engnr, Murtala Jahadi, the Chairman said the council has similarly executed and renovated many projects as Dispensary blocks in schools and many other developmental projects.

In a related department, Gwadabawa council Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Aya said numerous projects of tremendous importance were executed while many others are in the pipeline planned for execution.

The trio in their separate remarks said the undergoing projects are equally aimed at sustaining hardships experienced by the people in the areas adding that some of the projects were executed by the state government while others are Jointly done.

Water systems with 10 wells each to feed the major tanks for distribution has been the major project in the three LGAs.

Similarly, in almost all the Secondary schools two storey buildings containing 10 classrooms each were erected.

They said both regular and seasonal farmers benefit with facilities and fertilizer to assist them in their farming activities
