Former Nigerian Ambassador To Jordan And Iraq Defects To PDP

The former Ambassador announced his defection when the campaign team led by Governor Tambuwal visited Kebbe and Yabo LGAs.

Stating his reason for leaving APC, Yabo said the leadership has no justification in their governance.

Governor Tambuwal reaffirmed commitment of his administration and the incoming of PDP and expressed enthusiasm with what they physically saw on venue.

He said with the development he is certain PDP will win Sokoto in all aspects of political transition come 2023 general elections.

The party Chairman, Bello Aliyu Goronyo who received Yabo said it was a come back home journey and urged all liable for election the vote for PDP from Presidential aspirant to Councilors.

With the defection of Faruk Yabo thousands defected along with him saying he joined PDP due to Tambuwal’s patience and execution of developmental projects especially to rural communities.

Other speakers in their separate remarks expressed happiness with the development knowing how influential Faruk Yabo is in the state.
