Successful Transition A Key To Better Democratic Governance -Youth Groups

A youths group known as ” Youth For Democracy And Good Governance” (YDG) has described the 2023 general election as free and fair where the new leaders emerged at different levels without violence.

The group’s secretary-general, Malam Auwal Mai Nasara stated this in a chat with newsmen in kano, adding that “successful election and trànsition from democratically elected government to the other is the key to good governance”.

He lamented that Nigeria is now on to a solid democratic foundation and from what had happened, our democratic dispensation is getting more strengh especially how the 2023 elections were held on 25th february and 18th march, that brought the next leaders at bothe national, states as well as parliaments.

Malam Mai Nasara stressed that their group is also working seriously to ensure that democracy in Nigeria is benefiting the electorates in various channels, where he called on the new leaders to keep Nigeria’s democracy more straight forward for National growth.
