Senator George Akume Is A Patriotic Citizen- Ambassador Musa Tsoken

The National President of the one of the populous APC Support groups, APC Initiative For Good Governance (APC-IGG), Ambassador Musa Mohammed Tsoken described former Benue state governor, Mr. George Akume as a real Democrat whose contributions facilitated National Development.

He stated this in a chat with newsmen in Kano, adding that George Akume is a patriotic citizen who always keeps in mind that Nigeria would be greater if al hands remained on deck to ensure that al is well in every sector.

” His excellency, Senator Dr. George Akume was the Permanent secretary in Benue state before he retired and when he retired the people of his state felt that all his aspiration is nationalistic and that is why they demanded him to opts for the seat of governorship, where he served for two consecutive terms with optimum results which is a clear indication that he is a trusted person per excellence”. He lamented.

Furthermore, Ambassador Musa Tsoken added that he also served as Senator for another three terms where he was again appointed as the minister of special duties and intergovernmental affairs to mention a few of his great contributions towards national development which we have now witnessed.

He said that George Akume is a true nationalist who is always ready to serve our fatherland especially at present when the new government of continuity is getting ready to climb the ladder with zeal to working with competent people like him.

In conclusion, Ambassador Musa Mohammed Tsoken stressed that Senator Dr. George Akume’s contribution to actualize contuinity in governance has proven that his track records would continue to takes APC and Nigeria to a greater heights under the Asiwaju/Shettima administration.
