Kaduna Governor makes 9 fresh appointments

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has approved the appointment of Nine persons into various agencies in the state, in a bid to quicken the pace of governance and deliver on his campaign promises.

This was contained in a statement issued Tuesday and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Muhammad Lawal Shehu.

Those appointed includes
Mohammad Sada Jalal as Director General, Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), Jerry Adams, Acting Executive Chairman, Kaduna Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), according to the release.

The release also stated that Jerry Adams will also act as the Executive Chairman of KADIRS pending the appointment of a substantive Executive Chairman.

Others appointees are Adamu Magaji as Director General, Kaduna State Facility Management Agency
(KADFAMA), Adamu Samaila as Special Adviser, Labour Matters, while Amina Sani Bello as Senior
Special Assistant, Student Matters.

Additionally, Salisu Ibrahim Garba appointed as Senior Special Assistant, Political Matters, Larai Sylvia Ishaku as Senior Special Assistant, Social Investment Programme, Clement Shekogaza Wasah as Senior Special Assistant, Community Engagement, and
Waziri Garba as Senior Special Assistant, Administration respectively.

The release added that “The appointments are based on the proven track records of the appointees, their commitment to the service of Kaduna State and the sustain agenda of the current administration. They are also people of proven integrity.

While congratulating the appointees, Governor Sani tasked them to fashion detailed strategies and operational plans to guide the implementation of programmes and projects in their areas of responsibilities.

He also wished them God’s guidance in the discharge of their assignments, adding that all the appointments commenced with immediate effect.
