Police Rescue Kidnapped Passengers Of Peace Mass Transport Bus In Kogi

The Kogi State Police Command has rescued all the passengers of Peace Mass Transport Bus kidnapped by some suspected kidnappers on Wednesday.

The Public Relations Officer of the Kogi state Police command, SP William Ayah on Saturday disclosed to our correspondent that all the passengers have been rescued.

He noted that the victims have since returned to their various destination after gaining freedom from the kidnappers.

It would be recalled that the passengers were travelling en route Kogi State when they were kidnapped leaving only a woman and her baby behind.

The incident which occured on Wednesday July 26,2023, along Ogugu, in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, indicated through a trending video, a white passanger bus belonging to the Peace Mass Transit was parked close to the bush, along a major road.

It was gathered that on receiving the reports, the state Police command immediately mobilised his security operatives into the bush and started combing the possible hideout of the hoodlums until they were rescued.
