“President Tinubu’s Address to Nigerians Tonight: What to Expect”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to make a broadcast to the nation on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 7 pm. The announcement was made by presidential spokesman Dele Alake, and he urged television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to tune into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.

Despite the scheduled address, the exact purpose of the broadcast remains unclear. However, it comes at a critical time when Nigerians are facing nationwide hardship due to the removal of fuel subsidy. This removal has caused a sharp increase in petrol prices, leading to ripple effects on the prices of essential goods and services across the country.
