Civil Society Organizations in Nigeria, represented by the National Alliance for Equity and Justice, have come to the defense of Hon Stella Erhuvwuoghene Okotete, a ministerial nominee from Delta State. The coalition rejects the spurious financial impropriety allegations and considers them ill-informed and ill-intentioned.
In a statement released in Abuja, the coalition expresses its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to include the best individuals, especially women, in his Renewed Hope Agenda. They emphasize that the allegations are an attempt to distract the administration and hinder its people-oriented programs and policies.

The coalition urges an end to the mudslinging campaign and calls for cooperation across the political spectrum. They appeal to the President and the National Assembly to confirm Hon Stella Okotete as Minister, as she is qualified and has the solid backing of the people of Delta State.
