“Civil Society Defends Hon Stella Okotete from Baseless Allegations”

Civil Society Organizations in Nigeria, represented by the National Alliance for Equity and Justice, have come to the defense of Hon Stella Erhuvwuoghene Okotete, a ministerial nominee from Delta State. The coalition rejects the spurious financial impropriety allegations and considers them ill-informed and ill-intentioned.

In a statement released in Abuja, the coalition expresses its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to include the best individuals, especially women, in his Renewed Hope Agenda. They emphasize that the allegations are an attempt to distract the administration and hinder its people-oriented programs and policies.
