“Lagos LUTH CCTV Strike”

A significant protest occurred at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) where CCTV workers voiced their demand for justice in the case of the late security officer, Justice Tsammani, who served at General Hospital. The protest, led by the group “SAN Livy,” took place on August 2nd, drawing attention to the circumstances surrounding Tsammani’s death.

Beyond seeking accountability for Tsammani’s unfortunate demise, the protesters also raised concerns about the safety and working conditions of hospital staff. Their actions highlighted broader issues pertaining to the hospital’s functioning and employee welfare.
