The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has revealed that the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, exhibited severe symptoms, including vomiting and goosebumps, following three injections administered by a nurse named Feyisayo Ogedemgbe on September 12, 2023.
CP Owohunwa disclosed these findings during a press briefing held at the Lagos State Command headquarters in Ikeja on Friday, shedding light on the initial results of the investigation into Mohbad’s untimely death.
“As of today, a total of 26 witnesses have been interviewed,” stated the CP.
The individuals interviewed include Mohbad’s immediate family, such as his father, mother, sisters, brother, wife, and manager, along with several others.
CP Owohunwa reported that Mohbad was brought to the hospital already deceased, with doctors on duty certifying his death on September 12.
The nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, was summoned to Mohbad’s residence by the singer’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq, commonly known as Spending, to administer the injections. These injections, believed to be the cause of the subsequent adverse reactions, left Mohbad vomiting and experiencing goosebumps.
Further details will be provided as the investigation continues.
