Skales Shares Video Evidence Amid Controversy Over Alleged EFCC Invasion

By  Milcah   Tanimu

Nigerian musician John Njeng-Ngeng, popularly known as Skales, has shared video evidence recorded by his neighbors in the early hours of the day following his allegations of an invasion by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The controversy began when Skales claimed on Tuesday morning that EFCC officials had arrived at his home with guns and hammers, breaking into his residence while he was sleeping with his six-month-old daughter. He expressed concern over his health issues and questioned the legality of the incident, asking if it constituted a crime.

In response to these allegations, the EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale, refuted the claims, stating that the EFCC does not conduct raids or invasions in such a manner. He suggested that the incident may involve impersonators posing as EFCC operatives.

Oyewale called on Skales to provide evidence to support his claims, emphasizing that the EFCC operates with politeness and follows established procedures.

Skales, in response to these developments, shared video footage captured by his neighbors as a form of evidence. The video is expected to shed light on the situation and help clarify the nature of the incident that took place at his home.

The controversy surrounding the alleged EFCC invasion of Skales’ home highlights the importance of verifying such claims and the need for evidence to support allegations.
