EFCC Clarifies Age of Convicted Fraudster Victor Odeh, Denies He’s Seven

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has refuted reports suggesting that Victor Odeh, convicted for internet fraud, is seven years old. In a statement posted on its official handle, the EFCC clarified that Odeh is 19 years old, not seven.

The commission emphasized that Odeh, along with four other undergraduates, was convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment each for pleading guilty to a one-count charge related to internet fraud. The statement aimed to correct false narratives circulating on social media about Odeh’s age, asserting that he is indeed 19 years old, as previously indicated in the commission’s July statement.
