Mercy Johnson and Husband Fulfill Daughter’s Unique Birthday Wish as She Turns 11

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie is filled with awe and gratitude as her daughter, Purity, celebrates her 11th birthday on December 30th.

In an Instagram post sharing photos of the birthday girl, Mercy expressed her gratitude to God and admitted to being short of words for her daughter’s life. She revealed that Purity insisted on no parties for her birthday this year, and both Mercy and her husband honored that wish.

“Purity is 11. Thank you, Lord, I have no words, Lord. Just do that which only you can always do in her life. She insisted on no parties this year, and we granted it. No parties, just prayers,” Mercy shared.

The post attracted birthday wishes from well-wishers and celebrities, including Phyna, Mercy Aigbe, and others who celebrated the young Purity.

This decision to forgo a birthday party aligns with Purity’s wish, emphasizing the family’s focus on meaningful celebrations over extravagant events. Last year, the family threw a lavish party for Purity’s 10th birthday, making it a memorable celebration with cakes, games, and gifts.

In addition to expressing her love for Purity, Mercy Johnson has previously showcased a playful and affectionate side to her relationship with her husband and children on social media. Whether expressing playful jealousy or celebrating milestones, the actress often shares family moments with her followers.

As they honor Purity’s birthday this year, Mercy and her husband continue to display their commitment to each other and their children, creating a loving and supportive family environment.
