**Explosion in Ibadan Claims Life of UK Returnee**

The victim of the recent explosion in Ibadan has been identified as a returnee from the United Kingdom, who came back just a week ago. The explosion resulted in two fatalities and 77 injuries, according to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde. While the National Emergency Management Agency refrains from providing specific casualty numbers, an eyewitness revealed the identity of the UK returnee, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation. Governor Makinde attributes the explosion to illegal mining activities, with investigations ongoing to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
