Army Eliminates Three Terrorists in Sambisa Forest Raid

Nigerian Army troops carried out a successful raid operation in the Arra area of Sambisa Forest in Borno State on Friday, resulting in the neutralization of three terrorists, including a suicide bomber.

The operation, aimed at destroying terrorist hideouts in the forest, led to the recovery of two AK-47 rifles and a suicide vest after thorough searches were conducted.

According to Maj-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations, another operation in the Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno resulted in the killing of one terrorist and the destruction of their camp. Troops recovered an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, and various items during this operation.

The Nigerian Army remains committed to eradicating terrorism and insurgency in the region, ensuring the safety and security of the populace through continued operations.
