Tragic news has surfaced in Nollywood circles as reports suggest that popular actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, has passed away due to a drowning incident while filming a movie.

Sources indicate that the actor met his demise shortly after sharing a video on his Instagram page, where he was seen on a boat. In the video, he can be heard urging the boat operator to reduce speed, expressing his desire to personally raise his three children, emphasizing that he was the sole child raised by his parents.

Junior Pope described the risks involved in the movie industry, particularly during filming, as he found himself at the heart of the River Niger.
