DSS Detains El-Rufai’s Political Associate Aisha Galadima

Aisha Galadima, a political ally of former Kaduna State governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has been taken into custody by the Department of State Services (DSS) in Kaduna.

Her detention appears to be related to a post on her Facebook page criticizing Governor Uba Sani.

Recently, Governor Sani publicly disclosed the significant debt left by his predecessor. Galadima was reportedly arrested by DSS operatives at her Tudun Wada residence in Kaduna on Friday afternoon.

Her arrest was confirmed by one of her brothers in a telephone conversation with an online news source. “Aisha has just been taken into custody by the DSS at her Tudun Wada home in Kaduna,” he stated.

Attempts by the press to confirm her arrest with the DSS were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.
