Actress Sola Sobowale Addresses False Claims of Arrest and Death in Saudi Arabia

Dortmund – Veteran Nollywood star, Sola Sobowale, has responded to circulating rumors suggesting her involvement in drug trafficking and subsequent demise in Saudi Arabia.

During a recent appearance on the ‘Teju Baby Face Show’, the 58-year-old actress dispelled these rumors, recalling similar false reports that surfaced when she relocated to the United Kingdom. Despite these challenges, Sobowale remained steadfast, citing her inner peace and faith as sources of resilience.

Reflecting on past controversies, Sobowale clarified misconceptions about her involvement in her sister’s London restaurant business, debunking claims of her active participation in the enterprise. She expressed frustration at the most egregious falsehoods, notably the fabricated narrative of her arrest and execution in Saudi Arabia, a country she emphasized she had never visited.

The acclaimed actress, celebrated for her diverse roles on screen, underscored the importance of parental influence on upbringing, citing her own parents’ dedication as a guiding force in her life choices.

Sobowale revealed her decision to prioritize her children’s upbringing over her career, highlighting the fulfillment she derives from this choice despite the unwarranted scrutiny she has faced.
