Kaduna State Fire Service Reports 2 Fatalities and 81 Fire Incidents in 2-Month Span

The Kaduna State Fire Service disclosed that it recorded two fatalities stemming from 81 fire outbreaks across the state during the months of March and April 2024.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna, Paul Aboi, the director of the fire service, provided these figures, emphasizing the severity of the situation.

During this period, Aboi noted that in addition to the two tragic deaths, three individuals sustained injuries of varying degrees due to the fire incidents.

The fire service was alerted to outbreaks in various areas including Kaduna, Zaria, and Kafanchan, indicating the widespread nature of the incidents and the challenges faced in managing them.
