Davido Plans to Retire from Album Production After Next Release

Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, hinted on Thursday that he might not release another album after his upcoming one.

Davido, who has recently made headlines for his online spat with fellow musician Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, took to social media to address the issue of doctored pictures circulating online.

In a post on his social media handle, the ‘Unavailable’ singer expressed frustration, suggesting that some individuals are keen on pushing him out of the music industry. He wrote, “Yall niggas want me out the game that bad?? Oya after next album I no do again. So una fit get peace.”

The singer’s declaration comes shortly after he released the visuals for his song “Kante,” featuring the talented singer Fave, from his “Timeless” album. Directed by Dammy Twitch, the music video showcases Davido and Fave commanding the spotlight in a club setting, interspersed with captivating and colorful scenes.

Davido also indicated that the “Kante” video signifies the conclusion of the “Timeless” era, hinting at the anticipation of new milestones ahead.
