Bauchi gov gives $100 to each 2,682 Bauchi pilgrim

Bauchi State Governor, Sena￾tor Bala Mohammed has dis￾bursed a cash gift of $100 each to about 2,682 intend￾ing Muslim pilgrims.

The governor said this while delivering a fare￾well message to the intend￾ing pilgrims at the Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Hajj Camp, Bauchi. He also warned them to be worthy ambassadors of the state in particular and the country in general while in the Holy Land, urging them
to pray for peace and prosper￾ity in the country and Bauchi State in particular.
Governor Mohammed said that the government has also made all necessary ar￾rangements for the state pil￾grims contingent to Saudi Arabia to be led by the state Amirul-Hajj who is also the
Emir of Dass, Usman Bily￾aminu.

He added that the gov￾ernment has made adequate arrangements in Saudi Ara￾bia to make the pilgrims per￾form their religious obliga￾tion without any hindrance and reminded them to be
grateful to Allah that has giv￾en them the opportunity of being among the pilgrims
