Tinubu lauds Gov.Idris, Pres.Talon over free cross boarder trade between Nigeria, Benin

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded the Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris and President Patrice Talon of Benin for boosting the free cross boarder trade between Nigeria and Benin Republic.

Tinubu gave this commendation after a successful bilateral meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries aimed at enhancing the seamless movement of goods across borders.

The collaboration between the two countries has significantly contributed to the improvement of trade relations and transportation infrastructure between Nigeria and Benin Republic.

Their joint efforts have led to the facilitation of smoother trade routes and enhanced connectivity for businesses operating in both countries.

Speaking on the significance of the collaboration, the Governor Idris highlighted the positive impact of this initiative on the economic development of the region.

He further emphasized the importance of fostering strong trade partnerships to drive growth and prosperity between the two countries.

“The collaborative efforts of President Tinubu and President Talon have paved the way for increased trade volumes and improved logistics networks, benefiting businesses and consumers alike.”
