Plateau Poly Rector, Dr. Chirman, Pledges Commitment to Staff Capacity Building

The Acting Rector of Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, Dr. Clement Chirman, has reiterated the institution’s commitment to supporting staff for improved productivity.

Dr. Chirman made this statement at the opening of the 22nd National Conference and Exhibition of the Nigeria Association of Vocational and Technical Educators (NAVTED), held in collaboration with the School of Vocational and Technical Education, Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi.

Our correspondent reports that delegates from various institutions across the nation gathered at Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, for the four-day conference of NAVTED, themed “Artificial Intelligence as a Modern Instructional Technique in Vocational and Technical Education in Nigeria.”

While declaring the conference open, Dr. Chirman noted that the event would provide delegates with an opportunity to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices in vocational and technical education.

He emphasized that the conference offers a platform to address the challenges and opportunities in the field, as well as explore innovative solutions for the benefit of students and the nation.

Dr. Chirman commended the Nigeria Association of Vocational and Technical Educators for their tireless efforts in promoting excellence in the field.

The Acting Rector encouraged delegates to engage in fruitful discussions, share their experiences, and learn from one another.

He also pledged to continue working towards elevating Plateau State Polytechnic to greater heights.
