The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has facilitated with the Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria and enjoined to to pray for the nation as they mark Eid-ul-Mawlid.
In a felicitation message to Muslim Ummahs in the country, the NCPC Boss enjoined the to pray for lasting peace, prosperity, and a more egalitarian society in Nigeria, and particularly to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and for the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Bishop Adegbite said that Eid-ul-Mawlid offers Muslims a unique opportunity to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and reflect on his teachings.
He urged the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians to embrace the values of patience, sacrifice, and resilience during this celebration.
The NCPC boss also encouraged Muslims and Nigerians to use this occasion to pray for victims of recent flood disasters and offer support to those affected.
Also, Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism that the current challenges facing the country are temporary and encouraged Nigerians to have faith in the present administration.
