The Presidency has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu is set to undertake a cabinet reshuffle soon. This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
While Onanuga did not specify whether the reshuffle would take place before October 1, he emphasized that it was expected to happen imminently.
President Tinubu appointed his current ministers in August of last year. However, there have been growing calls from members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the public for a reshuffle due to concerns over the performance of some ministers.
The President had recently confirmed his intention to reorganize his cabinet during a meeting with Northern leaders at the State House in Abuja.
