A Kuje Magistrate Court on Wednesday granted N500,000 bail to Alex Ikwechegh, a House of Representatives member representing Aba North and South, who was arraigned for allegedly assaulting a Bolt driver, Stephen Abuwatseya, outside his Abuja residence.

The incident gained widespread attention after a video circulated on social media, allegedly showing the lawmaker threatening and intimidating the driver, with comments suggesting he could make him “disappear.”
