The Managing Director of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has announced the company’s commitment to achieving a consistent power supply across its coverage areas.

Speaking during an interactive session with journalists at the Zawachiki Power Plant on Thursday, the Managing Director, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, outlined KEDCO’s efforts during a visit from the Minister of Power, Mr. Adewale Adelabu, to Kano State.

Yusuf emphasized that KEDCO’s initiatives aim to improve electricity distribution and drive economic growth in the region. He encouraged the public to support the company’s efforts towards better power delivery.

“We are making significant efforts to ensure constant power supply across our franchise states, with the goal of fostering economic progress and reducing poverty in various aspects of life,” Yusuf stated.

The Managing Director also expressed gratitude to Minister Adelabu for prioritizing the visit to Kano despite his demanding schedule, noting that the engagement would contribute positively to advancing stable power supply in the region.
