Aiyedatiwa Gains Key Endorsement from Ondo Pensioners Ahead of Election

By   Milcah   Tanimu

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa received a crucial endorsement from the Ondo State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) during the Pensioners’ Day celebration in Akure. The union, representing 28,000 members, urged its members to support Aiyedatiwa in the upcoming governorship election, commending his efforts to improve pensioners’ welfare.

NUP Chairman, Comrade Johnson Osunyemi, praised Aiyedatiwa’s administration for halting partial payments and restoring full monthly pensions. He noted that Aiyedatiwa has also made strides in reducing the backlog of gratuities owed.

“We celebrate your empathetic approach and confirm you as our chosen candidate,” Osunyemi added, encouraging members and their families to mobilize for the governor.

This endorsement strengthens Aiyedatiwa’s position as he heads into next month’s election, potentially securing votes from the influential pensioner community.
