Nigerian Soldiers Clash with Bandits, Three Killed in Kaduna

By   Milcah   Tanimu

Nigerian soldiers gunned down three bandits during a clash at Mai-Iddo village in Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The confrontation took place as soldiers carried out a clearance operation in the area.

During the gun battle, security operatives successfully rescued four farmers, including a woman, who had previously been abducted by the assailants. Reports indicate that the bandits kidnapped two farmers at Mai-Iddo village and two others at a farm in the neighboring Arikon village last week.

The soldiers, conducting operations in Kagarko Local Government Area, encountered the bandits while raiding a hideout in the forest of Kurmin-Kare village, leading to a fierce exchange of gunfire.
