“She Was My Crush” – Crayon Opens Up on Tiwa Savage’s Influence

Nigerian singer Crayon has shared a personal story from the early stage of his career, revealing that he once had a strong crush on fellow artiste Tiwa Savage.

Speaking during a chat with streamer Carter Efe, the former Mavin Records signee recalled how meeting Tiwa Savage in 2018 felt surreal, as he had long admired her.

Crayon admitted that his feelings went beyond professional respect, noting that he had a major crush on the singer while still trying to find his footing in the industry.

He also recounted a memorable encounter where Tiwa Savage asked if he smoked. After he responded affirmatively, she handed him what he described as “Backy,” a slang term for a rolled smoking mixture.

According to him, the moment left a lasting impression and marked the beginning of a habit he later struggled with, suggesting it had a significant influence on his lifestyle at the time.

The revelation has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with fans sharing varying opinions about the story and its implications.
