Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, has died following a brief illness, according to a statement from the Chief Registrar of the Ekiti State Judiciary, Olanike Adegoke, on Tuesday.

In a tribute shared by the judiciary’s Public Relations Officer, Michael Oba, Adegoke praised the late Chief Judge, calling him “a respected jurist who dedicated his life to upholding fairness, equity, and justice.”

“The contributions of the late CJ to the judiciary and to Ekiti State are immeasurable. His legacy will be deeply missed,” she stated.
