TNN Is Not A Threat to APC – AYM

By Jabiru Hassan, Kano

The APC Youth Movement (AYM) has dismissed the recent decision by the Team New Nigeria (TNN) to separate from the ruling party, describing it as a move by individuals who are not genuine members of the party. According to AYM, TNN is not an opposition force but rather a group of individuals being sponsored by failed politicians.

In a statement issued to the press in Kano by the Secretary-General of the movement, Ambassador Abdulazeez Adamu Bello, AYM assured Nigerians that those claiming to be leaving the APC are not real politicians. Instead, they are being backed by wealthy political figures who have failed in the past and are envious of the ruling party’s commitment to Nigeria’s development under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“It is clear that some members of TNN are not recognized by the All Progressives Congress in any way. Our findings show that the association is being funded by some failed politicians who are bitter about how the ruling party has remained focused on Nigeria’s progress,” Bello stated.

He further emphasized that AYM will expose the true motivations behind the formation of TNN and the movement’s intentions, which have already been thwarted by well-meaning Nigerians who are satisfied with President Tinubu’s selfless efforts toward national development.

“We urge the good people of Nigeria to continue supporting the APC and the Tinubu administration, especially now, when things are rapidly improving. We also advise Nigerians to be cautious of any sponsored group or association working to undermine our democratic process,” Bello concluded.
