Senator Lalong Felicitates Former President Muhammadu Buhari at 82

 

Senator Simon Bako Lalong, representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, has extended warm birthday greetings to former President Muhammadu Buhari on his 82nd birthday.

In a congratulatory message, Senator Lalong described President Buhari as a patriotic leader and statesman who has made significant contributions to Nigeria’s unity, peace, and development.

Reflecting on Buhari’s service to the nation, Lalong commended his sacrifices and leadership, noting the impact of his tenure as President in advancing Nigeria’s fortunes. He also expressed gratitude for the goodwill and support Buhari extended to him during his governorship, which helped address challenges faced by the people of Plateau State.

“President Buhari’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the poor and underprivileged continues to inspire Nigerians and remains a reference point for his supporters,” Lalong said.

The Senator wished the former President many more years of divine blessings, good health, protection, and happiness in the years ahead.
